I noticed the "fraction" button, but it is was for fraction part (fPart), not for converting from decimal to fraction (and from fraction to decimal) which would beneficial in Trig (ie advance placement tests for high school students (they automatically qualify for scholarships if their scores are high enough) and for trig identities.
You have fPart but could not find iPart (integer part). fPart is great for finding primes of a number. Divide a number by primes until you have no fPart. Start with 2 and continue with prime numbers until the sqrt of the number. Can your calculator be programmed for finding primes of a number this way ??

At the moment SMC does not convert decimal to fraction. If you select fraction you need to start with fraction for example 1/2+3/5 and only then you will see a fraction as the result. In the future we will add the feature to convert decimals to fractions.
